The (Real) King has left the building…

We lost a giant today. BB King was one of the most influential blues musicians of our time. A good Baptist boy from Mississippi, he started his musical career singing in the church choir. From there to probably every important stage in the world, he was just a class act.

The Good Friday Blues Band has performed “When Love Comes to Town” at 3 of our 4 services – it’s a favourite of Lando’s and of ours. We might just have to bring it back next year in BB’s honour.

Rest in peace, Mr. King, and thanks for the great ride.
